Bathroom Wall Panels

Bathroom wall panels are an essential part of any bathroom and are a modern and affordable alternative to traditional bathroom tiles.

As well as bathroom panels, acrylic plastic is also commonly used for shower panels, shower screens and splashbacks due to its versatility and waterproof properties.

We stock clear acrylic, colour splashbacks, neutral acrylic and metallic acrylic, which have been carefully designed and produced to suit your distinctive tastes, your bathroom style and your exact specifications.

You can find the perfect match with Sheet Plastics.

What Are the Benefits of Bathroom Wall Panels?

Bathroom wall panels are designed to protect the walls of your bathroom against water damage when showering. They are also perfect for freshening up your bathroom decor, so they are a great option for bathroom makeovers.

With a 100% waterproof guarantee, acrylic bathroom panels are completely watertight, allowing for permanent, long-lasting use and are easy to clean with minimal maintenance. As acrylic bathroom panels do not require grout, the risk of mould is eradicated completely.

Plastic bathroom panels are a great alternative to glass or tile panels to create a tile-free bathroom that enhances your space. Unlike glass and tile that damages easily and is costly to replace, plastic is more hard-wearing and impact-resistant, while it can cope with knocks and bangs without shattering under the impact.

Unlike standard tiles, bathroom wall panels are extremely cost-effective and long-lasting, with their durable quantities and superb resistance to impact. Acrylic bathroom wall panels are easy to clean and maintain with a simple wipe clean. As acrylic bathroom wall panels are produced from high-quality materials, you won’t run the risk of colours fading after cleaning over a long period of time or the risk of the material shattering like glass.

Acrylic bathroom splashbacks can also be fitted in a fraction of the time compared to traditional tiles.

Choosing a Bathroom Wall Panel

How to Measure For a Bathroom Wall Panel

Start by drawing out the area on a piece of paper with all measurements noted down. Make sure to include any parts that require cutouts, including shaver sockets or bathroom pipework.

If your bathroom splashback is to be fitted adjacent to a cupboard, we recommend leaving a 1mm gap to ensure the panel fits, and there is minimal movement. This gap can then be filled with sealant later on. To avoid inconsistent gaps, you’ll also need to check that all surfaces and cupboards are level.

All of our bathroom wall panels are cut to size, so you can be sure of a bespoke splashback to suit your bathroom with quick and easy installation.

If you require fabrication on your bathroom splashbacks (cut-outs and holes) then please email a basic drawing to bespokedesign@sheetplastics.co.uk and one of our expert staff will provide a quotation.

How to Fit Bathroom Wall Panels

The great thing about acrylic wall panels is that they are easy to fit with no mess, meaning that you shouldn’t need a professional to help you install them! Large sheets of bathroom acrylic can also be fitted in a fraction of the time compared to traditional tiles, making for a seamless installation.

All you have to do is clean all surfaces, making sure they are dry and free from dust, and peel back the protective plastic from the acrylic sheet. You will need to apply your chosen adhesive and carefully position your splashback sheet into place.

If you need assistance in installing the splashback, you can contact us, and we will advise you on the best way to get your desired result!

Finally, wipe away any excess adhesive and leave to set for 24 hours.

How to Clean Plastic Bathroom Wall Panels
