How to Install a 2-Part J Section on PVC Cladding
- Measure & Cut the J Section
Measure the length of the panel edge where the J Section will be placed.
Use a fine-toothed saw or utility knife to cut the profile to the correct size. - Fix the Base Part of the J Section
Attach the base part of the J Section to the wall or substrate using screws or adhesive.
Ensure it is aligned correctly for a seamless fit. - Slot the PVC Cladding Panel into Place
Slide the PVC panel into the fixed J Section, ensuring a snug fit.
If using the J Section as an end trim, insert the panel fully into the profile. - Secure the Second Part of the J Section
Once the panel is in place, clip or screw the second part of the J Section onto the base.
This locks the panel in securely while allowing for easy removal if needed. - Seal & Finish
In wet areas, apply a thin bead of sealant along the edges for extra waterproofing.
Wipe off any excess for a clean and professional look.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Wipe with warm soapy water and a soft cloth to remove dust or stains.
Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals to preserve the finish.
