Green Acrylic Mirrors Installation

When it comes to installation, our green acrylic mirrors are incredibly simple to integrate directly into your project.

Ensure that the target surface is completely flat and even. If this is not the case, then Sheet Plastics recommends installing an MDF sheet to the wall first, then attaching your green acrylic mirrors to this.

Using Mirror Mate as an adhesive, the mirrors can be adhered to the target surface safely and efficiently, allowing you to seamlessly integrate them to your project.

Green Acrylic Mirror FAQs

How does an acrylic mirror differ from a glass mirror?

Green acrylic mirrors do not have the same rigidity of glass mirrors, making acrylic mirrors more flexible. This requires the target surface for application to be completely flat. When this is not the case, Sheet Plastics recommends fitting an MDF sheet to the wall, for the green acrylic mirrors to then be attached to.

How should you clean a green acrylic mirror?

The cleaning process for our green acrylic mirrors is highly intuitive; simply apply warm water and a mild soap with a soft cloth or sponge to remove any marks or dirt from the surface of the mirrors.

Please avoid using any sharp or rough applicators, as this could damage or scratch the acrylic mirror.

Should I use 3mm or 5mm thick green acrylic mirrors?

Choosing a thickness for your mirrors pivots on the size you are looking to fit and your budget. The thicker the sheet of mirror, the more rigid the sheet will be. Our sales team can advise on this and help with the best thickness material for your project.

Can Green Acrylic Mirrors be used in the bathroom?

Green acrylic mirrors can be used in the bathroom; however, you need to make sure the edges are all sealed using silicone, as this is to ensure no water can get onto the backing of the mirror.
