2. What application is each material used for?

Secondary Glazing
Polycarbonate is suitable for secondary glazing due to its high durability, impact resistance, and total transparency.

Mirrors
We recommend aluminium for a completely reflective, clear, and durable mirror. Or if you are looking to improve the structure of your existing mirror, polystyrene can provide a strong back to reduce your mirror both falling and breaking.

Roofing
The majority of our materials can be used for roofing, but multiwall polycarbonate offers the best durability, insulation, and impact and weather resistance.

Splashbacks
We recommend PETG for a shiny splashback matching your kitchen. It has total transparency or block colours and high printability. However, other settings may benefit from just a clear protective sheet where you can monitor surroundings, such as foam PVC.

Garden Shed Windows
Polycarbonate is really an all-rounder material supporting a variety of applications. It’s durable, has amazing impact resistance, and will protect your garden shed windows from harsh weather conditions.

Sneeze Screens
Both polycarbonate and acetal are suitable for sneeze screens as they are clear and easy to maintain. They are both non-porous, meaning liquids and gases are unable to sink into the surface and spread bacteria, perfect for protecting your customers and employees.

Cladding
A variety of our materials are suitable for cladding, but foam PVC offers the best durability and moisture resistance. Whereas, polypropylene is extremely versatile in its resistance and can be more cost-effective as it lasts longer.

3. How easy are plastic sheets to maintain?

All our plastic sheets are easy to clean and can last for years with proper maintenance. Depending on the application, all you need is a bucket of warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Simply wipe away the dirt and grime once a month for long-lasting colour.

4. What customisation options are available?

Sizing

Our plastic sheets are completely bespoke, so all you need to do is insert your specific measurements on the order form and we will do the rest.

We ask for a thickness between 2 mm and 12 mm, and panel size between 1500 mm to 6000 mm, but we may be able to change the sizing if required.

Customisation

We offer an extensive range of colours, textures, and finishes. We truly have something for everyone, be it a transparent polycarbonate sheet to reduce mould growth to a durable acetal sheet suitable for industrial applications.
